Home Remedies for Sore Throat Relief: Effective Methods
There are contraindications. Consult your doctor.
Sage: Prepare an infusion with 2 teaspoons of dried sage, pouring a cup of boiling water over it. Let it steep for 10 minutes, then strain. Add one teaspoon of sea salt and use the resulting solution to gargle 3-4 times a day for maximum effect.
Exercises for Sore Throat and Tonsillitis Relief: Take a kneeling position, sitting on your heels (lion pose). Stretch your arms forward, slightly bending them at the elbows and spreading your fingers. Imagine these are the paws of an animal. Hold your breath on the inhale and tense your arms as if trying to stretch them without moving them. Stick out your tongue as far forward as possible and bulge your eyes, holding the tension for three seconds. Repeat this exercise three times. It is important to stretch the tongue as much as possible and perform a swallowing motion without bringing it back into your mouth. This will help strengthen the throat muscles. In the first hours with tonsillitis, perform the exercise every 15 minutes, then repeat every half hour; the more often, the better.
Beer: For pain relief, you can try gargling warm beer. This method can also help relax inflamed areas.
