Osteoporosis: Effective Folk Remedies for Treatment
There are contraindications. Consult your doctor.
Osteoporosis is a serious disease that primarily affects the skeletal system of women over 60 years old. To restore calcium levels in the body, folk remedies that promote bone health are widely used.
Treatment of osteoporosis using eggshells:
Eggshells are an excellent source of calcium and are actively used in folk medicine to combat osteoporosis. To prepare the remedy, you need to finely grind the shells into a powder using a coffee grinder, mortar, or meat grinder. If stomach acidity is high, it is recommended to take half a teaspoon of the powder, drinking it with plain water. In cases of low acidity, it is better to use a solution made by mixing 1 cup of water with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon of sugar or honey. This remedy should be taken twice a day, before or after meals. Eggshells not only help to improve bone health but also aid in relieving heartburn and strengthening the immune system.
Oat flakes as a remedy in the fight against osteoporosis:
Oat flakes are another effective folk remedy for treating osteoporosis. It is recommended to soak the oats in cold water for three hours, then boil them until cooked and consume them without restriction. Oatmeal helps to strengthen bones due to its content of necessary microelements.
Bryndza as a preventive measure against osteoporosis:
With age, the calcium levels in women's bodies decrease, so women over 40 should include bryndza in their diet. A portion of 100-150 grams of bryndza, added to salads, can significantly reduce the risk of osteoporosis and decrease the need for medication.
