Gingivitis: Inflammation of the Gums and Its Effective Treatment

St. John's Wort: To make an infusion, use 2-3 tablespoons of dried St. John's Wort poured with 2 cups of boiling water. This solution is perfect for rinsing the mouth and helps with gum inflammation.
Creeping Buttercup Ointment: To prepare an effective ointment for the gums, mix 20 grams of creeping buttercup rhizomes with 100 ml of alcohol. The resulting tincture should be combined in a ratio of 10 parts tincture to 5 parts glycerin for optimal results.
Snake Gourd: For mouth rinses, use 1 tablespoon of crushed snake gourd rhizome steeped in a cup of boiling water. Let the infusion steep, then use it as directed for reducing inflammation.
Vodka with Cinnamon Rinse: Mix 9 tablespoons of cinnamon with 1 cup of vodka and place the mixture in a vacuum container for 14 days. After that, strain the resulting solution, which is meant for mouth rinsing, but not recommended for swallowing!
Arnica: The infusion and tincture of arnica are known for their hemostatic and anti-inflammatory properties. To prepare an infusion, brew 1 tablespoon of crushed flowers with a cup of boiling water, let steep for 30 minutes, then strain and use for mouth rinsing. The tincture can also be purchased at the pharmacy.
Lemon Balm: To create an infusion, steep 8 teaspoons of dried crushed lemon balm in 2 cups of boiling water for 4 hours. This solution is also great for rinsing the mouth and will help fight gum inflammation.
