Atherosclerosis: Folk Remedies for Treatment and Prevention
There are contraindications. Consult your doctor.
Kombucha: For medicinal purposes, it is recommended to use a 7-8 day infusion of this culture. It should be consumed for atherosclerosis, hypertension, rheumatic heart disease, and polyarthritis, as well as for colds, especially when the upper respiratory tract is inflamed. In case of sore throat, the infusion is used for gargling and nasal rinsing. Repeated gargling with the infusion during follicular angina helps to quickly (within a day) reduce fever and ease swallowing.
Walnuts: According to folk medicine recommendations, regular consumption of a handful of walnuts contributes to the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis.
Celery, Lemon, and Honey: This is an effective folk remedy for atherosclerosis and diseases of the brain vessels. To prepare it, 1 kg of celery roots should be washed, ground in a meat grinder, and left in the refrigerator for 6 days. 3 large lemons (weighing 500-600 g) are also passed through the meat grinder with the peel, but without seeds. All ingredients are mixed with 0.5 liters of honey and placed in the refrigerator for 1 day. It is recommended to take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day half an hour before meals.
Onion and Garlic: These products are an excellent remedy against atherosclerosis. They can be eaten without restrictions. Instead of fresh garlic, odorless supplements such as alikor and alisat can be used.
Grapefruit Juice with Yellow Flesh: It is recommended to consume it for atherosclerosis and hypertension, a quarter of a glass 30 minutes before meals.
Dandelion Roots: Powder from dried dandelion roots helps in severe forms of atherosclerosis with memory loss, promoting the elimination of excess cholesterol and toxins. It is sufficient to take 5 g of powder before each meal, and improvements can be noted after 6 months. This remedy has no contraindications, as all parts of the dandelion are traditionally used in various countries as medicinal and food products.
