Hypertonic saline solution, sulfo, hemlock, Balynin's ointment, copper plates:
Attention! Dressings should be applied loosely to avoid excessive pressure on the wound.
The treatment should begin with thoroughly washing the wound with a hypertonic saline solution — a 10% solution of table salt diluted in water. Dressings with this solution need to be changed regularly, especially in the presence of abundant discharge, preventing them from sticking to the wound.
If you are undergoing sulfo therapy, it is recommended to apply the active solution (the one taken internally) to the affected area, alternating it with saline dressings to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment.
When using hemlock, it should be applied very carefully and in small amounts around the area of the wound or ulcer, while Balynin's ointment should be applied to the wound itself at a concentration of 25-30%.
It is recommended to stick copper plates or coins minted before 1960 around the wound or ulcer using adhesive tape. Do not forget to change them once a day and clean them thoroughly after each use for reuse.
