Saline rinses as a folk method for treating nasal polyps:
To prepare a saline solution, dissolve one heaping tablespoon of salt in 0.5 liters of warm water. It is important to mix thoroughly to avoid the formation of insoluble crystals. If necessary, strain the solution to eliminate the risk of damaging the mucous membrane. The water should be at a comfortable temperature (36-40 degrees Celsius). Use this solution by inhaling it through the nose so that it reaches the throat, and then spit it out. It is recommended to repeat the procedure twice a day for 7-10 days.
Using celandine for nasal rinses with polyps:
To prepare an infusion of celandine, pour one tablespoon of crushed herb into a glass of boiling water. Allow to infuse for 5-6 hours, then strain. Inhale the resulting hot infusion through the nose in a similar manner. Celandine procedures are recommended to be performed twice a day for 5 days, followed by a break of 5 days. It is advised to complete 4 such courses for the best results.
