Bay Leaf: To prepare the infusion, take 5 grams of dried leaves, pour them with a glass of distilled water and bring to a boil. Keep it in a water bath covered for 2 hours. After cooling, strain the broth and squeeze. It is recommended to instill 8-10 drops of the broth into the affected ear, as well as to take 2-3 tablespoons of the warm infusion. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times a day.
Mint Leaves: For children over 4 years old, you can instill 2 drops of freshly squeezed mint juice into each ear, after closing the ear canal with a cotton swab.
Chamomile: Pour 1 tablespoon of dried flowers with a glass of boiling water and infuse for 30 minutes. Mix the strained infusion with 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and carefully rinse the ear, then close it with cotton.
Rosehip, Carrot, and Cream: Brew strong tea from rosehip flowers and mix it with the juice of grated carrot and a small amount of cream. Introduce the resulting mixture into the ear using a swab.
Juices of Hare Cabbage and Plantain: Mix the juices of these plants in equal parts and introduce them into the ear using a swab.
Juices of Coniferous Trees: It is recommended to instill the juice of pine, birch, or spruce into the ear.
Horseradish Drops: In case of purulent otitis, mix 10 drops of horseradish juice with 1 teaspoon of water. This mixture can be prepared for a day and instilled into the ear 5-6 times a day with 3-4 drops. Additionally, prepare a dough from rye flour, horseradish root puree, and sour milk, applying it to the affected ear.
Almond Oil: Before bedtime, instill warm almond oil into the ear, 3-4 drops.
Sweet Clover Infusion: Pour 2 teaspoons of grass with 0.5 liters of boiling water and infuse in a tightly closed container. If pus is discharged from the ear, clean it with cotton soaked in hydrogen peroxide, then instill 5-6 drops of the infusion at night.
Salt Heating: Heat coarse salt in a pan, place it in a cloth bag and apply it to the ear for 30 minutes. This procedure is effective at normal temperature.
Scented Geranium: Crush a leaf of the scented geranium until juice appears and place it in the ear for 20-30 minutes. This remedy quickly relieves pain, especially in children.
Boric Acid: Warm up boric acid, moisten cotton and place it in the ear. It can be wrapped with a warm cloth and kept for an hour.
Bank Compress: Take 2 half-liter jars, pour boiling water into them, and drain after a minute. Wrap the jars in a towel and keep them 1 cm away from the ears until they cool down.
Onion Juice and Breast Milk: Mix onion juice with breast milk in equal proportions and instill a drop into each ear. This remedy can also be used for prevention during colds.
