One of these proven recipes was shared by our regular reader. She created her own tincture for headaches and claims that it helps not only with headaches but also with various cardiovascular diseases, neuroses, thrombophlebitis, arrhythmias, and other ailments.
Recipe for making the tincture for headaches
For preparation, you will need a 500 ml dark glass bottle. Pour 100 ml of the following pharmacy tinctures into it: hawthorn, motherwort, valerian, and peony. Add 50 ml of eucalyptus leaf tincture and 25 ml of peppermint tincture. Finally, add 10 clove buds.
Allow the tincture to steep in a dark and cool place for 14 days, shaking it occasionally.
After that, strain the tincture through gauze and store it in the refrigerator. Take as needed – 1 teaspoon diluted in 1/3 cup of water, three times a day.
This tincture is effective for various headaches, especially those caused by weather changes. It is also helpful for treating ringing in the ears and head. Take care of your health!
